I knew little about the law school admissions process when I first set out to become a lawyer. This gap in knowledge, coupled with my pre-existing fears that I could never “make it” as a lawyer, led me to nearly abandoning my dreams. Luckily, during my sophomore year at the University of Miami, I got involved with a pre-law student organization working to connect students underrepresented in the legal field with resources to attend — and succeed in — law school. I began chipping away at my imposter syndrome surrounding the profession, while helping others do the same.
Life
I share my journey to becoming a lawyer on my TikTok platform, Legally Amrutha. My goal is to promote access to legal careers and empower my followers through sharing admissions advice, what life is really life in law school, and advice I've picked up along the way. I also post about my life as a young adult along the way — including my workouts, travels, relationship, and get ready with me's.

My Cycle
After graduation, I took the LSAT and applied to 11 law schools in the 2022-2023 admissions cycle and received multiple full-ride merit scholarships. I hope by sharing my experience going through admissions, and what I learned along the way, I can support future generations of lawyers.
